My Cat
A drawn cat that meows, jumps, sulks, and sleeps depending on how you touch it. It requests no permission at all and has no backend whatsoever — the only one in the portfolio like that.
What the app does
One screen, nothing else. The cat answers your touch in different ways depending on where you touch it, each with its own sound and animation. A meow counter tracks your play and unlocks small milestones, and quiet background music can be switched off from the menu. No levels, no scores, nothing pushing you to keep playing.
What makes it different
- Touch-position reactionsEvery part of the cat responds differently, so discovery is the game.
- Meow counter and milestonesA simple number that climbs as you play, with small milestones along the way.
- Sound you controlIndependent switches for music, effects, and haptics in the menu.
- Auto sleepThe cat dozes off when left alone, and that can be turned off.
- Works offlineEvery sound and drawing ships inside the app, so no connection is needed.
Offline, literally: the app does not request the internet permission at all — nor any other permission — so Android itself blocks any network connection from it. It has no backend whatsoever, the only one in the portfolio without one. This is not a promise not to send data; it is a technical inability to send any.
Data and privacy
No account, no sign-in, no ads, no tracking. All that is saved is your in-app settings and the meow counter, in a small preferences file inside the app's own storage on your device. No name, no email, no device identifier, no location, no photos. Full details in the privacy policy.
