Two paths, not one
After the splash screen comes a gate with two cards. Competition is fifty stages of electrical engineering, five questions each, climbing from easiest to hardest, with no stage unlocked until the one before it is passed. The Electrical Engineer Pocket holds sixty-four reference entries and twelve calculators across twelve categories — with search, favourites, and history — and works entirely offline without asking for an account.
The interface is Arabic and English, switched by a button at the top of the screen.
What makes it different
- 1,250 questions across eleven topicsFrom electrical circuits to safety and protection, each topic carrying a full difficulty ladder that runs the length of all fifty stages.
- Worked solutions, not bare answersThe givens, then numbered steps, then a check on the result, then a warning about the common mistake.
- 226 auto-generated figuresCircuits, diagrams, waveforms, and curves — from a single description to SVG for the web and PNG for Android, linked to 341 questions.
- Grounded in the standardsIEC 60364, IEC 60479, IEC 60898, NFPA 70E, and SBC 401, cited by number in the explanation whenever the number comes from them.
- Automatic numeric verificationEvery computational question carries an expression that recomputes its own answer, so no question whose answer contradicts its options can pass.
The pocket reference asks for neither an account nor a connection. All sixty-four entries and twelve calculators live inside the app and work in a substation basement with no signal. An account is needed only for multiplayer and progress sync.
Data and privacy
No ads and no tracking. The pocket reference and single-player competition both run without an account and without a connection. Multiplayer and progress sync use Firebase authentication and its Realtime Database, storing only what playing and tracking your progress require. The detail is in the privacy policy.
