Privacy policy
Last updated: 2 September 2026
This policy explains how Tatbeeqy handles data across its apps and website. We keep it plain, because vagueness here serves nobody.
Summary
We sell no data and share none with anyone for advertising, and none of our apps contains ads, analytics tools, or behavioural tracking. What is actually collected differs from app to app — and here is the table:
| App | Internet | Account | Location | Crash reports | Ads and tracking |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| My Cat | Permission not requested | No | No | No | No |
| Horoof | Online play only | Anonymous · Google optional | No | Yes — technical | No |
| Question Bank | Multiplayer and sync | Anonymous · Google optional | No | Yes — technical | No |
| Voltix | Multiplayer and sync | Anonymous · Google optional | No | No | No |
| Itbaali | Yes | Yes | Yes | — | No |
Why not simply write "we collect nothing" and stop? Because it would not be true on every line. My Cat really does collect nothing — it does not even request the internet permission. But online play needs a server, and a server needs to know who is playing. It is more honest to set this out app by app than to make a sweeping claim that the first online app would contradict.
My Cat
The app collects nothing at all. It does not request the internet permission in the first place, so Android itself blocks it from making any network connection — it cannot send anything to any server, ours or anyone else's. It has no backend whatsoever.
All that is saved is a small preferences file inside the app's own storage on your device, containing only: the music, sound, haptics, and auto-sleep switches, the meow count, and the highest milestone reached. No name, email, phone number, device identifier, advertising ID, location, contacts, photos, or usage logs.
Horoof
Local play needs neither a network nor an account. Statistics, match history, and tournaments all live in a database on your device. The app hands them to Android's backup service, which stores them in your own Google account; that is done by the operating system rather than the app, and we cannot reach it.
Online play does need a server, and it is entered with an anonymous account created automatically: no email, no name, no password — just an identifier by which the server knows who acted in the room. Devices never write match state; they send commands and the server decides.
Progress sync is optional. If you want it, your anonymous account is linked to a Google account — linked, not signed in afresh, so that what you have played is not orphaned. No email, name, or photo from that Google account is stored: sync needs a stable identifier, and the identifier is enough.
Horoof also sends technical crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics, not linked to your account or your name. It has its own detailed data policy: the Horoof privacy policy, together with its account deletion request page.
Question Bank
An anonymous account for multiplayer, and an optional Google link for sync — exactly as described under Horoof above.
This app also sends technical crash reports, as Horoof does (Firebase Crashlytics), because when something fails for a player nobody knows about it — not even them. A report carries no name, email, account identifier, room code, question text, or answer. It carries: where the fault occurred, the error type, the operation name, its severity, and the app version. The original exception text is never sent — it may contain a path or an address — only a message built from those fields alone. Crashlytics itself adds the device model, OS version, and an app installation identifier; that is part of how the service works rather than something we send.
Voltix
The pocket reference and single-player competition work without an account and without a connection — neither the reference entries nor the calculators need a network.
Multiplayer and progress sync use an anonymous account and an optional Google link, as described under Horoof above. No ads, no analytics, no crash reporting.
Itbaali
This app is at an early stage and has not been publicly released. By its nature it needs what our other apps do not: an account for whoever places the order, an upload of the file to be printed, and your location to find the print shops near you.
Its data policy will therefore be published in full — retention, limits, and deletion — before any public release, not after it. Until it ships there are no users and no data.
The website
This site is made of static pages that ask you for nothing, set no tracking cookies, and run no scripts. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the IP address of your connection — technically unavoidable for any network request.
Children
None of our apps is directed at children under thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. My Cat in particular offers no route to it at all: no connection, no ads, no external links.
Your rights
Uninstalling the app ends whatever is stored on the device. If you have linked a Google account for sync in Horoof, Question Bank, or Voltix, write to us to have whatever corresponds to your identifier deleted from the server — which is your game progress and nothing more, since we hold neither your email nor your name.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy as apps or features are added, and the last-updated date appears at the top of the page. Any new collection is written here before the feature that collects it ships.
